The Process
The steps to the story
-
We start with a conversation about what you want the film to do and who it's for. From that, I write a short creative blueprint that sets the goal, the tone, and the look and feel of the film so we're agreed on the vision before anything is shot.
-
With the treatment as our map, I plan the shoot in detail: what we need to capture, how and where. This is also where I'll tell you exactly which days and how much of your time I'll need, so you can plan around it.
-
The filming itself. We capture actuality of your real life as it unfolds alongside portrait shots, interviews, and, where the story calls for it, a few designed set pieces. Real moments first, always.
-
This is where the magic happens! On my own, I take everything we've gathered and shape it: the cuts, the pacing, the sound, into a film that lands and lingers. You'll get a hero film plus short social cuts from the same footage.
-
The reveal. I deliver your finished film in the formats your story needs for your site, your channels, a campaign, a festival, etc. It will be ready to meet the people it was made to move.
Every film is found, not scripted. Here’s how it goes, start to finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most projects come as a package: a 2–4 minute hero film plus 30–90 second social cuts from the same shoot. Larger branded documentaries run longer when the story calls for it.
-
Typicaly each project includes 2-3 rounds of revisions on the edit, so we can refine it together. We agree the scope up front, so there are no surprises.
-
Most short films run 3-8 weeks from first conversation to final cut, depending on scope and shoot days. We will establish a clear timeline up front.
-
Every film is scoped to its story, but projects typically start from €2,500. I’ll send a clear, itemized quote that we agree on before we begin.

Yes. I am based in Barcelona, Spain, but work across Europe.
-
My primary language is English, however I am also fluent in Hindi and Gujarati. I can speak an A1 level of Spanish as well. If your story requires to be spoken in a different language we can consider a translator and subtitles, at an additional cost.
-
You get the finished film and full rights to use it for your own purposes across your website, socials, and campaigns.
I also retain the right to feature it in my portfolio, on my own channels, film festivals and other public showcases, so the work can be seen.
If anything in your story is sensitive, we agree those limits up front.

Of course! If you already have footage, or you only need one piece, an edit, a single shoot day, a treatment, or just some guidance, I work on a day rate of €400, or €225 for a half-day.
